What is likely to occur as a result of homeopathic treatment?
You may notice certain changes after taking your remedy. Some patients experience a period of exceptional well-being and optimism. Others notice that their symptoms seem to worsen for a short time before improving. This apparent aggravation is a good sign and should not be interfered with. If in doubt, get in touch with me; either by phone or by e-mail. In fact, it would be a good idea to keep a record or diary of the changes that occur to you after taking the remedy, and bring this along to your next appointment.
Other changes that can occur after taking your remedy are that a cold, rash or discharge may appear as a kind of 'clearing out' by your system as it adjusts to better health. Similarly, old symptoms from previous illnesses may reappear for a short time, as your body 'remembers' past diseases that have been suppressed and not properly healed. All this will pass and ideally should not be treated as they are part of the healing process.
